Practical Work Party Volunteering day at Charterhouse.

We will be doing some vegetation management, pulling himalayan balsam, cutting back bushes to improve access and help wildlife and general tidying up. The meeting point is at 10:00am on the bridge between the car park and Charterhouse.

As usual, dress for the weather, we will be on muddy paths and near brambles and workign next to the river. Bring a packed lunch and a drink. Work gloves provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Bring Wellies if you have them - if you would like to borrow a pair, get in touch and we can arrange for that.

Please note that most of the work is physical and off paved paths. We make every effort to accommodate a variety of individual needs so that everyone can participate, but please let us know by email in advance so that we can help you to join in.

Please be aware that there may be photography or videography at this event. If you have any issues with this, please make a team member and any individuals with a camera aware. It is worth noting however, that almost all of our events are in public spaces and we cannot control members of the public who may want to take photos.
