Coventry TUC Xmas Social with a showing of the film about the origins of the Welfare State

Coventry TUC is one of the most active trade councils in the region, bringing together local trade unionists to support workers and their families in the struggle for a better life.

Join us at our Christmas social (with samosas and a pay bar) and see the film about "a young student who takes us through a kind of Alice in Wonderland journey through our contemporary woes; through government ineptitude and distortions of Beveridge's message", starring Simon Callow, Sophie Jenkin, Mark Thomas, Neil Gore and Miriam Margolyes.
