About This Event

The Sherbourne Valley Project - Guphill Brook Practical Volunteering brings a range of tasks such as clearing invasive plant species and litter picking for free.

Our monthly work party on the Guphill Brook involves a range of tasks, such as clearing invasive plant species, litter picking and more.

Join us for our monthly volunteer session at Guphill Brook. We will be doing some practical management to improve the habitat around the brook.

We will be meeting by the bridge at Whitaker road at 10am, on-street parking is available nearby.

Please do check the weather forecast beforehand and dress appropriately for the conditions. Bring wellies with you if you can in case of rain or work in the river, if you're comfortable with this. Get in touch if you need us to provide a pair for you. Feel free to bring your own work gloves or we can provide these for you also. Please also bring water and a snack with you.

No experience is needed, we will show you what to do. If we need to make any adjustments so that you can attend we can and if you need more details or are having trouble booking please email sherbourne@wkwt.org.uk.
