A new Coventry City FC storytelling space, The Story, opens on Thursday 2nd July with its maiden exhibition: The Journey Back.

When Doug King bought the Coventry Building Society Arena back in August 2025, it was always his vision that the club should own its home.

For the first time since 2005, Coventry City’s history will have a permanent home through a dedicated museum within The COV Store, showcasing key moments from the club’s past.

The Story launches on July 2nd 2026 with an exhibition “The Journey Back” : This is the story of a club that lost its home, its place in the city, almost its identity - but never its people.Because before Coventry City FC came back, the supporters made sure it never disappeared.And eventually, through renewed leadership, stability and ambition, the club began to build forward again.

Purchasing your ticket also allows you to take a picture with the club's Championship winners trophy from the 2025/26 season.
