A 90-minute workshop to help you understand what's behind your child's behaviour.

This workshop is for Warwickshire parents/carers only.

Understanding Children's Behaviour Workshop

Being a parent can be one of life's most rewarding experiences, but it can also bring moments that feel challenging and overwhelming. Join us for this friendly 90-minute workshop to explore why children behave the way they do and discover practical strategies to help guide their behaviour positively.

This workshop is suitable for parents and carers of children of all ages and will be held at Queens C of E Academy, Nuneaton.

Together we will explore:

Understanding and meeting children's needs

Behaviour as a form of communication

The link between feelings, thoughts and behaviour

Supporting children through big emotions such as anger and frustration

Giving clear and effective instructions

Looking after ourselves as parents and carers

This session provides a general introduction to these topics. Information about additional support, services and referral pathways will be available at the end of the workshop.
