Warwickshire Local History Collection at Nuneaton Library

Discover Warwickshire's rich history at this free event where you can see some of the rarer items from the Warwickshire Local Collection which is mostly housed here at Nuneaton Library.

These engaging sessions led by Louise Essex, our Senior Librarian for Local Studies, will showcase a wealth of historical materials, including photographs, documents and books that bring the County's past to life.

Through this session, you will gain a deeper understanding of the social and economic changes through the decades.

Whether you are a long-time resident, a newcomer, or simply curious about the area's past, this event offers an excellent opportunity to uncover the remarkable history hidden within Warwickshire.

These sessions are great for anyone interested in:

Learning more about Warwickshire's local history and heritage.

Connecting with others who share an interest in history and community stories.

Celebrating the unique character and development of our county.

Discovering the wide range of local history resources and services available.

Time: Choose a 45 minute session starting at - 10:30am, 11:30am or 2:30pm

Date: Wednesday 4th November 2026

Age: Adults 16+

Booking: Booking essential

(Drop-ins may be available on the day but participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.)
