Warwickshire Police Awareness Event: Stop Hate Crime at Coleshill Library

Do you know what hate crime is? Hate crime is any criminal offence that is motivated by hostility or prejudice towards a person's race or ethnicity, religion or belief, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Join us for an informative awareness session with Warwickshire Police to learn more about what hate crime is, how it affects individuals and communities, and what can be done to challenge it. This event will provide an opportunity to increase your understanding, ask questions, and find out what support is available for victims and witnesses. Whether you want to learn more for yourself, support others, or help create a safer and more inclusive community, everyone is welcome to attend.

This event is great for:

Learning what hate crime is and how to recognise it

Understanding the impact of hate crime on individuals and communities

Finding out how to report hate crime and access support

Asking questions directly to Warwickshire Police officers

Helping promote respect, inclusion, and community safety

Discovering what our libraries offer

Why not take a book home after the event? You'll enjoy a great read, and it's a simple way to support your library. Every loan counts.
