We’d love to invite you to Nuroosa for a morning to discover the space, meet us and have a conversation about farewells.

Nuroosa is a gathering place in Weston-on-Trent, with flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, plenty of natural light and a landscape that runs right around the building. There’s a large central space, a canteen for food and gathering, an outdoor ceremony area beneath an old ash tree and plenty of room to simply stay awhile.

We’d like to explore what this setting might offer families looking for a place for a funeral, celebration of life or wake, and perhaps some of the other ways a space like Nuroosa could be useful in this field.

We’d particularly value the thoughts of people who spend their working lives alongside families at these times.

The morning

Pop in when you’re able. We’ll have a short welcome at 10.30am from us and Leni Robson to introduce Nuroosa and share a little about the possibilities we can see here.

After that, you’re welcome to wander around, have a coffee and chat with us and each other.

There’s no formal programme for the rest of the morning , just time to discover the space and talk.

Refreshments will be available throughout.

We’d be very pleased to welcome funeral directors, celebrants and people working in bereavement, grief and related areas.
