Brighton quintet Canned Pineapple bring their highly acclaimed live show to Derby as part of their 2026 touring schedule.

Following the release of their sophomore EP 'Big Break', the band have earned praise from BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X, Clash, Dork, So Young and Rolling Stone UK. Their distinctive blend of scuzz-pop, power-pop and psychedelic influences has seen them perform across the UK, Europe and New York, including appearances at Truck Festival, Y Not Festival, The Great Escape and Fifty Lab.

Produced by Tom Rees (Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, The Bug Club, Panic Shack), 'Big Break' captures the infectious energy that has made Canned Pineapple one of the UK's most exciting emerging guitar bands.

Main support on the night are Derby five-piece The Blooms. Drawing inspiration from the garage rock revival of the 2000s and life in their hometown, the band recently released their debut EP 'Reminisce', which received support across BBC Introducing East Midlands.

With three exciting bands on the bill and a reputation for showcasing the best emerging talent, this promises to be another memorable night from The Indie Night.
