The performance will feature Lesley Manville and Aidan Turner in a new staging of Christopher Hampton's adaptation of the classic novel. The story follows the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont as they use seduction as a means to manipulate and control those around them, but their alliance ultimately turns to rivalry, threatening to destroy everyone in their path.

The production is directed by Marianne Elliott and will be filmed live on stage at the National Theatre. The event will take place at the Quad in Derby on Thursday 25 June at 7.30pm. Tickets are available through the Quad website and can be booked in advance.
