An informal get together with other reading enthusiasts to talk over a chosen monthly title.

Our first Book Group was a great success, with a good turnout, plenty of engrossing conversation and some lovely feedback. Everyone agreed they’d like to meet again, so here's the date for our next one!

Friday 9th October • 12 noon

For our second meeting, the group has chosen 'Precipice' by Robert Harris. A gripping historical thriller set in the summer of 1914, as Europe edges towards war and a secret affair involving the Prime Minister begins to have much bigger consequences. Edge of your seat reading material that you hopefully won't want to put down!

You don't have to have been to the first meeting to join us. If you enjoy books and like the idea of a friendly, informal chat about what you've read, come along and give it a go.There’s no formality, no pressure to speak if you'd prefer to just listen to others, and definitely no need to have written an essay about the book!

Come along having read 'Precipice' ahead of the meeting, grab yourself a coffee & cake, and relax enjoying a good discussion with others.
