This practical workshop will delve into effective financial planning and robust cashflow management techniques, offering attendees a chance to learn from real-world scenarios through insightful case studies. The core objective is to equip trustees with the essential skills and knowledge required to confidently monitor and effectively guide their organisation's financial health. The training commences at 10:00 AM, and participation is priced at a very accessible £11.55. This is an excellent opportunity for those responsible for charitable finances to enhance their understanding and improve their organisation's fiscal stewardship.
Master budgeting & cashflow: plan, monitor, and guide charity finances with practical case study insights for trustees.
Please note: To help reduce no-shows at our training sessions and make sure spaces go to those who need them, we are now asking for a £10 deposit to secure your place. Derby organisations will have this refunded after attending. For non-Derby organisations and anyone who does not attend, the £10 fee is non-refundable. A small non-refundable Eventbrite processing fee will also be added at checkout.
About this training:
How do you know you have got there if you don’t know where you are going?
Budgeting and cashflow forecasting are a must for every organisation - large or small.
This session will show how to prepare a budget and, more importantly, how it can then be used to monitor funds and inform Trustees about how the charity is performing financially.
This is an area of increasing importance.
A simple but effective budget process can be the difference between a charity that flourishes and one that collapses. We have a case study for attendees to work through that will show why!
