The Ultimate End-of-Year Gathering for All-Weather Automotive Enthusiasts

Come and join us for an end-of-year celebration of the machines that tackle the winter months! We’re packing up our Toyota Caldina GT-T and heading to an exciting new location for our final meet of the year.

Miles of Machines Vol 2: Winter Edition is moving to the fantastic Great British Car Journey in Ambergate, Derbyshire to close out the motoring calendar in style.

Following an awesome inaugural event, we are gathering at one of the UK’s standout automotive destinations to celebrate the vehicles that stay on the road when the grit and salt drop. Whether it is your trusted cold-weather daily, a hardy modern classic, a rugged 4x4, or an all-weather enthusiast build, this gathering is dedicated to the drivers and metal that brave the elements.

Event Highlights

The Venue: Now hosted at the incredible Great British Car Journey in Ambergate, offering a brilliant backdrop of automotive nostalgia, great facilities, and ample space for enthusiast machinery.

Slot Car Racing with Derby HO Racing Club: Test your scale-model reflexes! The crew from Derby HO Racing Club will be trackside running miniature slot car racing for attendees.

Charity Lego Raffle with Frank (FCTDC): Frank is back running his hugely popular £10 charity raffle, packed with awesome Lego sets up for grabs. Every penny raised from the raffle and slot car racing goes directly to support Mission Motorsport, aiding veterans through motorsport and automotive industry initiatives.

All-Weather Showcase: Dedicated parking and display space honoring the daily workhorses, winter warriors, and year-round builds keeping car culture alive through freezing mornings.

Community & Culture: A relaxed, welcoming vibe to wrap up the season, swap build stories, grab a warm drink, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
