Bringing people together to support Kash who is currently living with Brain Cancer. Expect a fun afternoon of fitness and fundraising!

Our regular monthly session is becoming something a little bigger... a community fundraiser bringing people together to support our friend Kash Raju, who is currently living with brain cancer, with a prognosis of 12 months or less to live.

Before this, Kash was simply living his life - working, looking after his family and raising his three young children with his wife, Manjit. He has since undergone major brain surgery. However, a percentage of the tumour remains because of its difficult position within the brain. He is now undergoing a six-week course of radiotherapy and chemotherapy through the NHS. Once his current treatment is complete, the options available to him become very limited. Depending on the treatment recommended, costs are up to £200,000 or more.

That is why we are asking for your help.

Kash wants to explore every reasonable option available to him and give himself the best possible opportunity to be around for his family and look after them.

This fundraiser is open to everyone aged 18+. Men, women, families, friends and members of our wider community, for an afternoon of movement, connection and fundraising.

Whether you know Kash personally or simply want to support a member of our community, everyone is welcome.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards supporting Kash for genuine treatment-related costs, including medical consultations, treatment, travel, accommodation and other essential expenses connected to accessing treatment.

The event is open to participants of all abilities, whether you're a beginner or advanced, there's something for you. If you have a Yoga mat, please bring one with you. If you don't have one, don't worry - Derby Arena has mats available to use. Age restriction: 18+
