A TALE TOLD BY AN IDIOT
Shakespeare's Macbeth as you've never seen it before.
One actor. One Derry accent. One of Shakespeare's bloodiest tragedies - and somehow, it's bloody hilarious.
Award-winning comedian Adam Laughlin (@fairplaylad) takes on his most ambitious show yet, performing the entirety of Macbeth himself in a fast-paced, irreverent and gloriously chaotic reimagining of the Bard's classic tragedy.
Expect drama, violence, murder, gore, comedy and explicit language as kings are crowned, witches make predictions, heads roll and one very unfortunate Scottish nobleman discovers that perhaps he should have listened to his wife a little less.
Adam Laughlin has been performing and hosting comedy across some of Northern Ireland's biggest and best-loved venues for over 15 years. Known for his addictive storytelling, sharp observations and energetic performances, Adam has left audiences rolling in the aisles time and time again.
Described as "unmissable" and "a must-see".
A Tale Told by an Idiot is Shakespeare's Macbeth stripped back, turned sideways and delivered entirely by one very enthusiastic idiot.
