A brand-new country music experience is arriving as Crana Country Sessions – Episode 1 takes over The Plaza, Buncrana on Friday, 18th September 2026, as part of the celebrations for Culture Night. This promises to be an unforgettable evening of live country music, dancing, entertainment and community spirit, bringing together country music lovers from across Inishowen and beyond for a spectacular night out.

Kicking off the evening is the talented Jack Larry, followed by one of Ireland’s favourite country stars, Jason McCahill, who will have the dance floor packed with hit songs, singalongs and an electric atmosphere all night long. Whether you’re a passionate country fan, an experienced jiver or simply looking for a fantastic night with friends, this is an event not to be missed.

The excitement doesn’t stop there, with a lively Jiving Competition taking place on the night, adding even more fun and energy to this special occasion. Expect great music, plenty of dancing and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that country music is famous for.

To make your night even easier, late transport home around Inishowen will be available in association with the Night Time Economy initiative, helping everyone enjoy the event safely. Late bus services to Derry will also be available, making Crana Country Sessions accessible to audiences from across the region.
