Dave McCabe Announces First Irish Tour with Very Special Guest James Jay Lewis

Following the success of his debut solo single “When You’re Young”, Dave McCabe is set to embark on his first Irish tour in February 2027, joined once again by special guest James Jay Lewis.

Best known as the voice and songwriter behind The Zutons, McCabe’s move into solo territory has already captured audiences’ attention. “When You’re Young” has been met with an enthusiastic response and has quickly become a live favourite.

Earlier this year, McCabe and Lewis shared the stage for a run of acclaimed shows that saw packed venues and growing momentum from city to city. Building on that success, the pair will now bring their unique collaboration to audiences across Ireland for the very first time.

McCabe’s live set spans a remarkable songwriting career, featuring beloved Zutons classics, songs written for other artists, and selections from his forthcoming solo material. Fans can also look forward to a second new solo release ahead of the tour.

James Jay Lewis is the perfect companion for the journey. The Liverpool-born multi-instrumentalist has performed with the likes of The Zutons, Cast and The La’s while steadily establishing himself as a respected solo artist. With his timeless melodic songwriting and exceptional musicianship, Lewis adds another dimension to an evening that regularly sees both artists joining forces on each other’s songs as well as their own.
