Come join PADDY DONNELLY reading/draw-along based on two children's books he recently illustrated: STARMAKER and NAUGHTY. Ages 4-9 years.

To celebrate IRISH BOOK WEEK (Sat 17 - Sat 24 Oct 2026), Little Acorns Bookstore is delighted to welcome award-winning children's author and illustrator PADDY DONNELLY to a wonderful hour of story-telling and drawing from two of the most recent picture books he has illustrated: Starmaker by CATHERINE DOYLE (Bloomsbury) and Naughty by JEANNE WILLIS (Andersen Press).

Paddy may also read from sone of his own picturebooks such as The Golden Hare, The Upside-Down Lighthouse or Badger Books, all published by the O'Brien Press.

Children will then be led by Paddy in some fun drawalong activities, creating new mythical creatures, upside-down drawings, treasure maps, who knows!

Come along for a fun Saturday afternoon full of stories and creativity. This session is ideal for kids aged 4-9 years, but all ages are welcome. Copies of all books will be available to buy and have personally inscribed - perfect for little minds who love stories and illustrations and ideal as Christmas gifts!
