A joyful, bustling celebration is taking shape for Saturday 12th September, when St Mary & St Eanswythe’s throws open its doors and churchyard for a day filled with music, laughter, good food, and the warmest Folkestone welcome. This year’s fete brings back all the favourites—coffee, cake, crafts, live music, and community cheer—alongside the much‑loved return of last year’s surprise hit:

Our four‑legged friends are once again taking centre stage, so polish those collars and practise those tail wags. Classes include:
Waggiest Tail
Golden Oldie
Perfect Puppy
Most Like Their Owner
Fastest Sausage Eater (with owner!) 🌭
And of course, the coveted Best in Show trophy will be awarded to the star of the day.
Entries open from 10.30am on the day.
