Work in Progess

Job searching can be frustrating, isolating and confusing, especially when you’re not sure what to try next.

Work in Progress is a new monthly career and networking evening for women and non-binary people aged 18 and over.

It is open to anyone who is:

• Looking for work

• Considering a career change

• Returning to work

• Freelancing or building a portfolio career

• Feeling stuck or unsure about their next move

For our launch evening, we’ll talk honestly about the challenges of job searching and explore how to take a more strategic approach.

The evening will include:

✨ A warm welcome and introductions

✨ An open group discussion about job-search frustrations

✨ Practical job-search strategies from Tanya White, founder of Hire Me Happy

✨ Time to share tips, ideas, wins and useful opportunities

✨ Relaxed networking and supportive new connections

✨ A short closing reflection to help you identify your next step

This is not a formal workshop or an awkward networking event. It is a friendly, supportive space where you can speak honestly, learn from others and feel less alone in the process.
