Explore Shane Holland’s creative space and process as part of Design Week 2026

Shane Holland attempts to create order from chaos, feeling from the unwanted or just fun where there was none and of course a back story. Saving items from the crusher, Shane resurrects objects for new journey. Dipping into the past to create a future

When someone steps in to create something out of a discarded item, they can create a magic new life. I create dynamic pieces showing a positive outlook for the future all the while appreciating the past. Submarines, robots, kinetic sculpture, lighting, furniture created from artillery shells, cars, or aircraft equipment and more. The design journey is explained and explored in this studio visit and a talk on heritage the past and how it can lead us to the future.

Shane will be joined by special guests
