In this hands-on event, children will learn the basics of the art of special effects makeup, exploring creative techniques using colours and textures to design effects like bruises, cuts, and scratches. Dawn Butler is a professional makeup, special effects and prosthetics artist for tv and film, known for her work on productions like Wednesday, Vikings:Valhalla, The Walsh Sisters, Irish Blood, The Green Knight, Small Things Like These. Dawn studied at the Dundrum College of Media and Artistry and got one of her first breaks working on Vikings over 10 years ago.

For Ages: 8-14 / Duration: 2 hrs

Start Time: 1.30pm (Exit Time: 3.30pm).

Venue: Liffey Trust Studios, 117-126 Upper Sheriff Street, Dublin 1.

This is a drop-off workshop. Parent/guardian supervision is not required. On the day of the workshop, parent/guardian will be asked to fill in a contact details registration form before the event. This form will also ask if a participant has any allergies to skin products.

Refunds - Please check your ticket (or email confirmation) as soon as you receive it. Tickets/e-tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, unless an event is cancelled, rescheduled or if they have been issued in error.
