On Wednesday, 7 October, Dublin's Blues Odyssey join forces with American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Steve Ray Ladson for a night spanning blues, country, roots, soul and rock 'n' roll.

An America's Got Talent finalist, Steve Ray Ladson brings his unmistakable blend of country, blues, soul and Southern roots music to Dublin.

Steve Ray arrives following his recent collaboration with Billy Ray Cyrus — bringing the energy of contemporary American country straight to the stage of The Grand Social.

Expect songs from Steve Ray's own catalogue alongside his latest music, delivered by an artist whose sound sits naturally between the worlds of country, blues and roots.

BLUES ODYSSEY

Dublin-based international collective Blues Odyssey is led by GRAMMY®-nominated musician and guitarist Julyo, with The Voice Brasil finalist Nil Guimarães on lead vocals and bass.

The band brings together musicians from different countries and musical traditions for a powerful contemporary take on the blues.

For this special Grand Social performance, expect music associated with legends including Freddie King, Robert Johnson and Nina Simone, with blues meeting soul, rock and improvisation.
