Join us for Children's Books Ireland International Conference 2027.

The Children’s Books Ireland International Conference is a weekend-long celebration of the very best in children’s books. Taking place on the 18th and 19th September, 2027, this annual event is a unique opportunity to critically reflect on the impact, imagination and importance of books for young people. Anyone with an interest in and a passion for children’s books is welcome to attend and participate in what is always an outward-looking, lively and thought-provoking event.

This year, Children’s Books Ireland members have the special opportunity to purchase a limited number of Early Bird tickets, securing their seat and supporting Children’s Books Ireland’s event programming in the process! Early Bird tickets cost €120 and are for the full conference weekend, in-person.

Join us for thought-provoking discussions, engaging presentations and opportunities to connect with peers in the world of children and young people’s books. And follow us on social media to look out for the conference theme and line-up, to be announced in summer 2027.
