For the fifth year running, The Echlinville Distillery returns to BAR 1661 for our annual whiskey tasting, and it's become one of the nights in the calendar we look forward to most.

Leading the evening is Jarlath Watson, Head of Whiskey at Echlinville, who'll take you through five drams from the distillery on the Ards Peninsula in County Down. Echlinville grows its own barley on the estate and handles the process from field to bottle, so expect the full story behind each whiskey - the grain, the casks, the decisions that shape the flavour - told by the person closest to it.

You'll be welcomed with a cocktail on arrival before settling in for a relaxed, guided tasting with plenty of room for questions along the way. Whether you've been with us for all five years or this is your first, it's a proper introduction to one of the most exciting distilleries on the island.
