One of Britain’s most acclaimed and distinctive singer-songwriters EMELI SANDÉ has announced a monumental UK & IRE tour to celebrate 15 years of her landmark debut album ‘Our Version of Events’  including a headline show at 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Tuesday 2nd February 2027. It features much-loved hits including “Next to Me,” “Read All About It (Pt. III)” and “Clown.” Celebrated for its emotional depth and exceptional songwriting, it won British Album of the Year at the 2013 BRIT Awards, while “Next to Me” received two Ivor Novello Awards. The record spent an extraordinary 66 consecutive weeks in the UK Official Albums Chart Top 10, setting a record for the longest unbroken Top 10 run by a debut album, surpassing the 62-week run of The Beatles’ Please, Please Me. More about Emeli Sandé Born and raised in rural Aberdeenshire – the daughter of a Zambian father and a mother from a Cumbrian family - Sandé discovered from an early age that music gave her a sense of freedom and a space in which to express herself. She began writing songs as a teenager and, while music was always her passion, she went on to study medicine at the University of Glasgow. Ultimately, she made the decision to leave medicine behind and pursue her dream of a career in music. Moving to London proved to be a turning point.
