Doors 7pm / Music 8pm / EUR 12

Dundalk songwriter Finnian Kelleher headlines the Backroom of The Cobblestone, with support from This Frontier Needs Heroes and Davy Lyons.

Finnian Kelleher is a Singer Songwriter from Dundalk, Ireland. With a soulful voice that demands attention and fills any venue effortlessly, he is a Songwriter in the classical sense of the word. His music and storytelling has been likened to Americana heavyweights such as Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor and John Prine. Comparisons aside, he delivers a refreshingly original sound fortified by his Irish heritage. His work has garnered incredible reviews and gained impressive momentum since releasing his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Under the Influence’ in 2020. Performing solo or with his stellar band, Finnian’s live experience has always been authentic and a true representation of who he is, where he has come from and most importantly, where he is going next.

This Frontier Needs Heroes is the folk project of Bradley Lauretti, an American songwriter based in Barcelona for the past four years. His sixth album, Homage to Catalonia, works Woody Guthrie's borrowed-melody tradition into a migrant's-eye view of leaving America. He has shared stages with Sarah Lee Guthrie, Johnny Irion and Scarlet Rivera.

Davy Lyons is an Irish singer and storyteller based between Wexford and Barcelona. He has released two studio albums, Evidence (2019) and The Human Factor (2023), earning praise as “one of Ireland’s most interesting and original songwriters” who crafts “songs that swirl and bend and dip into strange chambers of the human heart.” These were followed by Live at Underpool, Yes! (2024), a live album recorded with his band at Underpool Studios. Lyons also played the lead role in the Catalan feature film Solo Arrojaron, which has screened at festivals such as D’A Film Festival and Atlàntida Film Festival. He is currently working on his third studio album, provisionally titled Songs From The Shoe Shop.
