As part of Culture Night, Instituto Cervantes Dublin invites children to enjoy one of the most appreciated Spanish dances: the Flamenco.
The Instituto Cervantes Dublin, the Spanish cultural and language centre in Ireland, invites children aged 6 to 12 to discover the fascinating world of flamenco, a fundamental artistic expression of Spanish culture recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
By immersing themselves in its rhythms and movements, children not only learn an art form but also develop their personal expression, connect with a rich tradition, and foster creativity and collaboration.
This introductory workshop offers much more than just dance steps; it is a valuable tool for children's integral development.
Recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2010, flamenco represents an authentic and profound experience.
With Sandra Palomar, a professional dancer from Andalusia who has a solid career in flamenco. A regular teacher at the Cervantes Institute in Dublin, she holds a degree in Sports Science and is also a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor.

This event is part of the European Culture Trail – a EUNIC Ireland (European Union National Institutes for Culture) in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Ireland.
