About This Event

Join us for this one day conference with the IRGS! This event will include four lectures across the day. “The first fifty years: early stalwarts, the journal, the library, and the foundation of the Ireland Branch,” by Julian Walton (Vice President, IGRS) “Snobs and Scholars: the Genealogical Office manuscript collection," by John Grenham (author & professional genealogist) “Quality Assured: Ulster’s Office in the eighteenth century," by Colette O’Flaherty (former Chief Herald of Ireland) “Recovering Ireland’s lost census records – census records in the Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland,” by Brian Gurrin (Census Specialist, Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland) The event will start at 10.00 am and finish at 5.00 pm.
