A panel featuring six professional children’s book authors and illustrators in conversation with former Laureate na nÓg, Patricia Forde, including Richie Conroy, Sadhbh Devlin, Neil Sharpson, Tristan Rosenstock, Andrew Whitson and Máire Zepf. All participants are well-versed in artist events as Gaeilge for young audiences of varying size and age; they will discuss their experiences as well as demonstrate what programmers can expect from events like these. Followed by a meet-and-greet with tea and coffee.

Patricia Forde is an award-winning children and young people’s writer from Galway. She has written over twenty books, from picture books to novels and her work has been translated extensively. She is bilingual, writing in Irish and in English. She loves words and making it up as she goes along! Patricia was Ireland’s seventh Laureate na nÓg (2023-2026).
