About This Event

On 24 October 2026, the Patrice Brun Quintet will take the stage at Arthur's Blues & Jazz Club in Dublin, led by the French saxophonist who has been a fixture of the local scene since the early 2000s. This new formation brings together seasoned musicians on trumpet, piano, and drums alongside a rising talent on double bass to perform original works and classic standards from the 50s and 60s. The evening promises a textured blend of improvisation and structure, capturing the intimate and sophisticated energy of traditional jazz within the town's dedicated music venue.

The Patrice Brun Quintet performs a programme of original compositions and classic jazz standards from the 1950s and 1960s. The set draws on the work of Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard and Clare Fisher.

The ensemble features saxophonist Patrice Brun, along with trumpet and flugelhorn player Ray Martin, pianist Greg Lloyd, double bassist Diarmuid Lally and drummer Conor Murray. Patrice Brun has been a fixture on the Irish jazz scene since the early 2000s, leading his own groups for many years.

The concert takes place at 21:00 on 24 October 2026. Tickets are priced at €20.00.
