A Film Class on the strange, bloody and seductive world of Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma!

Part slasher film, part erotic manifesto, part meditation on queerness and identity, Jane Schoenbrun's latest film invites us to immerse ourselves in some pretty provocative questions.

In this class, we'll discuss the movie's symbolism, philosophical themes and cultural context, unpacking its ideas around sex, death, horror, queerness, fantasy and the politics of desire.

This is not a Film Club, make sure to watch the film (at Mubi) before you come to discuss with us :)

Just bring your curiosity. Expect a guided cinematic and philosophical analysis, followed by an open discussion where you can exchange ideas, challenge interpretations and connect with fellow lovers of cinema & philosophy!
