An exciting, inclusive introduction to wheelchair basketball with the Irish Wheelchair Association — no experience required. Age 8+.

Deposit of €5 is fully refunded via Eventbrite after your attendance is taken at the event. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the refund to be issued.

An exciting and inclusive introduction to wheelchair basketball. The session will include fun drills to develop basic wheelchair basketball skills, followed by some games where participants can put their new skills into practice. No previous experience is required!

The BeActive Campus Open Week takes place 23rd to 30th September 2026, as part of European Week of Sport.

The Beactive Campus Open Week is a European Commission led initiative funded by Sport Ireland as part of European Week of Sport, which aims to increase the level of participation in sport and physical activity in the EU and beyond.
