What to expect:

Hosted in partnership with Platinum Sponsors Lloyds Banking Group at the Cyber Quarters at Abertay University, this celebratory reception will thank the incredible supporters, sponsors and partners who make the Ada Scotland Festival and its growing impact on gender diversity in computing science and technology possible.

The Ada Scotland Festival Award winners will be announced, recognising outstanding contributions from educators in Computing Science and Technology across Scotland. Competition winners including from the Lloyds Banking Group Hackathon will also be announced.

The closing celebration will also recognise the 1000s of people who joined the Ada Scotland Festival in 2026. From primary pupils to industry leaders, those who took part are at the heart of the festival’s vision to create a Scotland where computing science and technology are truly representative of all genders, inspiring and empowering people from all backgrounds to create an inclusive tech-driven future.

Format:

Brief talks and Awards followed by informal networking, drinks, nibbles and celebrations.

About the Ada Scotland Festival 2026:

The Ada Scotland Festival runs from 18 September to 5 November, bringing together partners from education, industry and the third sector to deliver a suite of events and resources championing gender balance in tech and computing. All Ada Scotland Festival events are free to attend.
