Comedy kings Gary Faulds and Darren Connell will be doing a live recording of their hit podcast, and you could be in the audience!

Glaswegians Anonymous is the podcast where Glasgow life takes the spotlight. Hosted by comedians Gary Faulds and Darren Connell, it’s a weekly dose of comedy, nostalgia, and real talk about what it’s like growing up and living in Scotland’s biggest city. Expect hilarious childhood stories, brutally honest conversations, and plenty of Glasgow banter — all mixed with sharp observations about how the city (and life itself) has changed over the years. Whether you’re a born-and-bred Glaswegian, a Scot abroad, or just love authentic comedy rooted in real experiences, this podcast is your inside look.

Gary Faulds is the Springburn phenomenon who sells out theatres wherever he goes, including Glasgow’s cavernous OVO Hydro. With a social media following well into six figures, his rapid fire, brutally honest style of stand-up has garnered appeal in far flung places; whereas other Scottish acts worry about making it down in England, Gary has been able to embark on sold out tours of Europe. He hasn’t let it go to his head though; in his own words “I feel like my life is like the Truman show, but instead of a nice guy controlling everything, I have that wee a*shole Sid from Toy Story.”

Darren Connell is an acclaimed actor and comedian from Springburn, Glasgow. He’s best known for his role as Bobby in BBC Scotland’s hit comedy Scot Squad, for which he was nominated for a BAFTA. Since being persuaded by Kevin Bridges to take up comedy full time, he’s been in high demand both on and off screen, having sold out shows at comedy festivals, hosted popular podcasts and been nominated for awards. In 2025 he brought a smash hit show to Glasgow’s legendary King’s Theatre and started a new podcast with Gary Faulds.

· THIS SHOW WILL BE RECORDED. By paying entry, you are consenting to footage of you potentially being used online.

· Tickets can be refunded or exchanged no less than 24 hours before the show.

· Line-ups can be subject to change at short notice.

· The show is 60 minutes in length with no interval. Doors open at 7pm, one hour before the start time of 8pm. Please arrive before the show starts but not before 7pm. Attendees who arrive late will not be granted admission or a refund.

· Don’t talk or heckle during the performance. This rule is NOT optional. It is very distracting for both the performer and other audience members. Some performers (usually the host) might talk to the audience, but otherwise please let the comedians do the talking. Heckling does not ‘help the show’. Think of it like cinema rules: laughter, cheers, applause are all great, but talking or yelling out is not. And another cinema rule…

· Please put your phone on silent. Photos are fine but please no video or flash photography.

· We do not allow Meta (or similar) AI camera glasses.

· This is NOT a standing event. All audience members must be seated while the performance is underway, unless ordering at the bar or using the toilets. When ordering at the bar, please whisper.

· Entrance and exit is via the side door only; please wait outside at the door for ticket check and to be seated by the doorman.

· Tables are limited and you may have to share one. If you choose to sit on a row, please move all the way down to the end and don’t leave empty seats between groups. You may not be able to sit together if the remaining chairs available are spread out. If you are particular about seating we recommend arriving as early as possible.

· Seats in the front half of the room must be filled before seating in the back half is allocated.

· Seating in the alcove at the back is reserved for the comedians and their guests only.

· These shows are for people aged 18 and over. You may be asked to show ID if you do not look of age.

· Comedy Dundee does not necessarily agree or disagree with the opinions and viewpoints expressed by the comedians. Acts are booked based on their ability to make people laugh, beyond that we respect freedom of expression. If you disagree or are offended by what you hear, you are free to express this by not laughing, by leaving, or by respectfully raising your objections with the act after the show or via social media. You may not interrupt an on-going performance.

· Audience members who don’t respect these rules will be asked to leave.
