About This Event

The Goose Brooch Felting workshop will take place on 6 October 2026 at the Scottish Wildlife Trust's Montrose Basin Visitor Centre and Wildlife Reserve near Dundee. Various felt crafters, including Alison and Lynn, will lead attendees through this unique felting experience for a price of £20.

Join felt crafters Alison and Lynn for this unique felting workshop at Montrose Basin.

This GooseFest, come to the Montrose Basin Visitor Centre for some goose crafts!

Join felt crafters Alison and Lynn to make your own felted goose brooch inspired by the pink-footed geese of Montrose Basin. This is an adult-only art class. Beginner friendly. All materials supplied.

GooseFest

GooseFest (1-11 October) is a celebration of the tens of thousands of pink-footed geese that Montrose Basin is internationally important for. October is when the numbers of geese usually peak on the reserve, and they are best seen at sunrise and sunset. See the full GooseFest programme of events here.
