About This Event

The Bookhouse in Dundee hosts a meet-and-greet event with the Gruffalo on 3 October 2026, from 14:00. The event is a family-friendly activity to celebrate the release of the latest Gruffalo book. The event is free to attend.

Come hang out at The Bookhouse and meet the one and only Gruffalo in person! From 3pm to 4pm.

To celebrate the release of the latest Gruffalo book, "The Gruffalo Granny", we have invited The Gruafflo himself to come along and join us! Join us for a fun-filled event where you can meet the beloved character, The Gruffalo, in person. Head over to The Bookhouse to enjoy an exciting afternoon where you can pick up free acitivity sheets, buy Julia Donaldson books (including the brand new book with exclusive Art Prints for Indie bookshops!), and even have a photo opportunity with The Gruffalo himself! Don't miss out on this chance to bring your favourite storybook character to life. See you there!

Due to high expected demand, while this event is free we ask that you buy one ticket per family and try to arrive at the time slot you have a ticket for.
