Join us for a special opening event for our new exhibition in the Lamb Gallery

Drawing on the University’s extensive collections of art and medical history, Phenomenal Bodies explores ideas of the body and disability, with a particular focus on our limbs. It showcases local innovations past and present, including the work of the Dundee Limb Fitting Centre and the Hands of X project, and celebrates local heroes including painter John C Gray, hillwalker Syd Scroggie and Olympic torch bearer Ronnie McIntosh.

The exhibition has been curated in association with Studio Ordinary at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design and with support from the University of St Andrews, Tayside Orthopaedic Rehabilitation & Technology Centre, the Brittle Bone Society and local members of Blesma and Finding Your Feet.

Join us for this special opening night event. Please note that there are ramps and accessible doors to enter the building and a lift to the gallery on the first floor.

The exhibition runs 16 November 2026 - 29 January 2027 (closed for Christmas 24 December - 4 January). Find out more here (https://www.dundee.ac.uk/events/phenomenal-bodies).
