A showcase from a variety of Scotland's eminent parasitology research groups, and informal networking at CANVAS Dundee!

Following 4 years of successful annual SPPIRIT Symposia, we have decided this year to hold a Mini-Symposium. Members of our network always cite opportunities to network as a highlight of the SPPIRIT Symposium… So this year, networking is the focus!

Please come and meet old friends and new colleagues, hear short “showcase” presentations to learn more about parasitology labs across Scotland (including labs at the University of Dundee, University of Glasgow, University of Edinburgh, and the Moredun Research Institute), listen to a keynote from a new PI, and enjoy a casual networking opportunity in one of Dundee’s coolest venues.

This is a free, uncatered event.

The meeting will take place in a lecture theatre which does not have step-free access, but all talks will be streamed to a viewing room which is both child-friendly and has step-free access. The event is in-person only, and the talks will not be streamable off-site.

After the meeting, we will be networking in CANVAS Dundee (https://www.canvasdundee.com/), where you are able to purchase both food and drinks.
