event hosted as part of NE Paranormal Summer Solstice Celebration

What happens when we explore the idea of 'demons' through the lens of consciousness and the human mind?

Join NE Paranormal for a fascinating exploration of demonology, psychology, consciousness and the different states of mind associated with experiences that have historically been described as demonic, supernatural or otherworldly.

Rather than simply asking whether demons exist, this talk explores the fascinating space between belief, perception, consciousness and experience.

Topics explored may include:

🕯️ The history and origins of demonology

👁️ Different interpretations of demonic experiences

🧠 Consciousness and altered states of mind

🌙 Dreams, sleep paralysis and liminal states

🔮 Spiritual and paranormal interpretations

📜 How different cultures have understood demons

💭 The relationship between belief, perception and experience

👹 The psychology behind experiences described as demonic

This is an opportunity to explore a fascinating question:

When someone experiences something they perceive as demonic, what might be happening within their consciousness and state of mind?

Come along for an open-minded discussion that brings together history, psychology, consciousness and the paranormal, without requiring you to subscribe to any particular explanation.
