Outdoor fun and free food this summer! Bug hunting, clay art, den building, games, lunch, snacks and more with OASES.

This event is for children aged 5–11 years.

If your child is eligible for benefits-related free school meals, please book through the Fun and Food website using the booking code provided by your child's school. If you have not received a code, please contact funandfoodtickets@durham.gov.uk for assistance.

Children will enjoy a fun and active day outdoors, led by trained OASES Forest School and Forest Bathing practitioners. Activities may include bug hunting, den building, forest crafts, campfire cooking, team games and other nature-based activities.

A healthy lunch and snacks will be provided.

The session will take place outdoors in the school grounds. Please dress your child in clothes that can get muddy and provide suitable footwear. Children should also bring:

A sunhat

Sun cream

A waterproof coat

If you are unable to provide any of these items, please let us know and they can be provided.

Parents and carers do not need to stay during the session. However, a responsible adult must sign children in at 9:30am and out at 3:00pm.

For drop-off and collection, please come through the gates to outside Evenwood C of E Primary School main reception, where an OASES team member will meet you.
