FREE Summer Story & Play Workshop

We're Going on a Bear Hunt

For children aged 4–7 years

Join us for an exciting afternoon inspired by We're Going on a Bear Hunt, where children will explore storytelling, movement, healthy food activities and creative crafts whilst following the family's famous adventure.

Following a friendly welcome and healthy snack, children will enjoy our energetic Dough Disco, before taking part in an interactive storytelling session filled with movement, imagination and role play.

Healthy Food Activity

Children will create healthy picnic lunch boxes including:

Teddy bear-shaped sandwiches

Bear fruit faces

Picnic-inspired healthy snacks

Creative Activities

Children will enjoy making:

Their own bear house

Textured sensory nature crafts inspired by the grass, river, mud and snowstorm featured throughout the story

Children will take home everything they create to continue the adventure with their families.

Celebration Time

We'll finish the afternoon by sharing everyone's creations and celebrating each child's achievements together.

Our workshops help children to:

Develop fine motor skills

Learn about healthy eating

Parents and carers will complete consent and medical forms before the workshop. Please advise us of any allergies, dietary requirements, medical conditions, SEND or additional support requirements beforehand.
