About This Event

NEUROFEST Durham promises to be a great day out for families in 2026. The event takes place on August 22nd at Field & Fodder, Durham and features various performers. It's perfect for both adults and children with activities that everyone can enjoy together. With the event partly outdoors, there will be plenty of space to play and relax while exploring the fun on offer.

NEUROFEST Durham is an inclusive family fun day hosted by Unite Club, Nikki Noo Noo and Field & Fodder. Note: Event is partially outdoors.

Welcome to NeuroFest Newcastle! Where all families are celebrated!

Neurofest is an inclusive, understanding and engaging celebration of Neurodiversity and Disability, brought to you by Unite Club and our partners Noo Noo's Forest School and Field & Fodder.

NeuroFest is not just an event. It's a core memory. 💙

This is 1 of 4 NeuroFest events taking place across the North East this summer, and Durham is bringing all the forest feels! (Purchase a UNITE ticket to save 25% on events - that's one event TOTALLY FREE!)

Neurofest NORTHUMBERLAND is held at The Market Pavilion, Blyth.

ALL ATTENDEES WILL RECEIVE CREDIT TO SPEND AT THE PAVILION CAFE/CINEMA!

The event will be held inside a barn/outdoors and will focus on having fun in the forest.

Each NEUROFEST will have a different focus, giving you access to a full summer of fun!

Packed with workshops/showcases, inclusive activities, sensory experiences, local ND-owned businesses and support services - NeuroFest is designed to bring the community together, promote understanding and increase acceptance.

NeuroFest includes:

MAIN STAGE - Scheduled workshops/showcases that encourage group participation.

ACTIVITY ZONE - A space for self-directed play, low-demand, quieter activities.

SENSORY AREA - The Sensory Shuttle Mobile Sensory Room and additional equipment.

PLUS local inclusive shops, entertainment & service providers.

No diagnosis/additional need required. Everyone is welcome!

NOTES: The Sensory Shuttle, Unite Club's mobile sensory room, will be on-site all day as a free calm space for ticket holders. There is a cafe on-site serving additional refreshments.

The majority of our attendees are neurodivergent, disabled, or SEND professionals. When you walk into NEUROFEST, you walk into a place of true understanding, a place to just BE!
