About This Event

The event "Act Like You Own the Place!" will take place on 21 October 2026 at North Edinburgh Arts in Edinburgh. This community celebration will feature various performers and will also serve as the annual general meeting (AGM) for the organisation. Attendance is free, inviting community members to engage and participate in the festivities.

Join us for our Community Celebration and AGM this Autumn!

North Edinburgh Arts is owned by the people of North Edinburgh and is here for the long term. 800 local people have already joined our membership scheme and are community owners of this incredible building.

Take a self-guided tour around the whole building and meet artists, tenants, the team, participants, and volunteers from 5pm to 6.30pm.

Refreshments will be available in the café, short films will be screened in the theatre, and the new bothy will be open to the rear of the garden.

The AGM and closing speeches will take place in the theatre from 6.30pm.

We want to share more about what Community Ownership means and the difference it makes. We hope you’ll join us!
