About This Event

Art Walk Weekends will take place in Portobello, Edinburgh, from 5 September 2026. The event features walking routes with artists across 53 locations and 70 participating artists. Ticket details are listed on the festival’s website.

Arranged around 6 walking routes, 70 artists participate in the festival taking place across 53 locations. Interwoven across the festival’s title of Shift and Flow, artists explore ideas of transiency, flux and fluidity; from intertidal environments, to personal responses to nature’s ebb and flow. Our two awarded artists Minnie Scott and Sally Price showcase new work launched at the festival. Cressida Trail is a community project that takes a look back to the original Cressida tidal octopus first created by artist Lauren Fox in 2015, inviting anyone to display octopus inspired artworks across Porty. Additional Dates: 06 September 2026, 12 September 2026, 13 September 2026 Cramond is one of the oldest continuously occupied places in Scotland, and The Maltings is your gateway into that extraordinary story, from 8,500 BC right through to the Victorian era!
