Join Charles Jeffrey for a special conversation exploring the role of research in creating collections inspired by Scotland and reflecting Scottish fashion in exhibition form.

Taking place at St James Quarter Westfield, Edinburgh, this talk will see Charles Jeffrey (Creative Director) in conversation with Kirsty Hassard (Senior Curator) from V&A Dundee, with the discussion introduced by Laura Weir from the British Fashion Council.

The conversation will explore Scotland’s rich fashion history, its influence on contemporary designers and the importance of celebrating and bringing greater awareness to the incredible creative talent that has come from Scotland.

The talk will also connect to V&A Dundee’s current Catwalk exhibition, looking at some of the stories, designers and cultural influences that have helped shape Scottish fashion and its place within the wider global fashion landscape.

Expect an open and engaging conversation spanning fashion, culture, identity, creativity, and Scotland’s unique contribution to the industry.
