Join us for a magical evening of festive music, community spirit and Christmas cheer in the breathtaking surroundings of St Giles’ Cathedral

An evening of festive magic!

Our very first Edinburgh Food Project Christmas Carol Concert promises to be a heartwarming, inclusive and family-friendly celebration, bringing people together to share the joy of Christmas while making a real difference to people experiencing food insecurity across Edinburgh.

Headlining the evening is the incredible Rock Choir, bringing their uplifting sound and infectious energy to this spectacular setting. We’re also delighted to welcome the talented young performers of The Big Project Children’s Choir and the wonderful sounds of local Edinburgh favourites Thistle Do Nicely Choir, with more exciting performances to be announced soon!

Whether you love traditional Christmas carols, festive favourites or simply soaking up the atmosphere of a beautiful Christmas concert, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

And the festive magic doesn’t stop when the music ends! After the concert, join us for a little seasonal indulgence with festive fizz and mince pies, kindly sponsored by Shoosmiths, the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, meet fellow supporters and toast the festive season.

Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start.

Every penny makes a difference

Christmas should be a time of warmth, joy and togetherness, but for many people across Edinburgh, it can be an incredibly difficult time of year.

Edinburgh Food Project supports people experiencing food insecurity through our food banks and wider practical support, helping individuals and families access nutritious food and work towards a more secure future.

Every penny raised from this special evening will go directly to Edinburgh Food Project, helping us continue our vital work supporting people across the city. By joining us, you’ll be doing more than enjoying a wonderful evening of music – you’ll be helping bring hope, dignity and support to local people who need it most.

Gather your family, invite your friends and join us for an unforgettable evening in one of Edinburgh’s most iconic buildings.
