The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping serves as both a sequel to The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023) and a prequel to The Hunger Games (2012). Taking place 24 years before the first film, it follows young Haymitch Abernathy as he competes in the 50th Hunger Games. I have booked seat B8 (£7.99) for the 3pm showing. Plenty seats available beside me at the moment but it is the opening weekend of the film so it could sell out. If you book through a Vue account you can get a refund up to 2 hours before the film starts if you can't make it. https://www.myvue.com/cinema/edinburgh-omni-centre/whats-on Optional food/drink/chat at Wetherspoons Playfair before/after the film. Will post details nearer the time. The Omni Centre has a lift to the cinema which has recliner seats. Perhaps a few steps to seats depending on where you choose to sit. The location is handy for buses and trams and there is a car park but I'm not sure re charges. £1 donation on the day towards Meetup fees appreciated.
