Come and give women's lacrosse a try in Edinburgh! Looking for a new sport, a fun way to stay active, or just a friendly group of people to meet? Come and join Edinburgh Capital Lacrosse! We're a super friendly, inclusive adult women's lacrosse club with a team of mixed abilities. Whether you've played lacrosse before or have never picked up a stick in your life, you're so welcome to come along to training! We're all about having fun, learning together and supporting each other, and getting active in the process. What to expect? We train on a 2G Astro pitch and try our best to train in all weathers! However, this is Scotland after all, so the weather can be a little unpredictable and occasionally we do have to cancel training. We'll keep you updated if that happens. What do you need to bring? Absolutely nothing special! We can provide lacrosse sticks, so all you need is a pair of trainers. If you have a mouthguard, bring it along, and a bottle of water is always a good idea. Most importantly, bring yourself - and if you'd feel more comfortable bringing a friend along for your first session, please do. The more, the merrier! More than just training! We have regular games as well as socials, so there's plenty of opportunity to get involved, develop your skills, meet new people and be part of the team both on and off the pitch. We're an adult-only club (18+), and new members are always welcome. Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to the sport after years away, or an experienced player looking for a new team, come along, meet the team and see what you think! Have questions or want to let us know you're coming? Drop us a message on Instagram or email edinburghcapitallax@gmail.com.
