The Edinburgh Strings Attached Puppet Makers Mixer is a casual get-together for anyone in the area with an interest in the craft of puppetry. Whether you are a professional builder, a hobbyist working on a marionette in your kitchen, or someone just curious about how these figures come to life, this is a space to connect with fellow makers. There is no formal agenda, just an opportunity to chat about techniques, share what you are currently working on, and meet others in the local community who share this niche passion. We will be meeting at a local pub in central Edinburgh to trade stories, troubleshoot construction problems, and hopefully get some inspiration for our next projects. You do not need to bring a finished puppet to attend, though you are more than welcome to bring along a piece you are working on if you would like to show it off or get some feedback.
